Dr. Jeanne E. Germeil comes to North Miami Beach with a variety of backgrounds and experience. She was born in Haiti and left for Mexico where she studied at the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana. She graduated in 1995. She migrated to the U.S. more specifically Miami in 1997.
In Miami she attended a mini-residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, and an externship at Miami Children's Hospital. Dr. Germeil also travelled to various parts of the country, amongst themAlexandria Hospital, Shreveport, in Louisiana where she spent a few weeks doing rounds at the prestigious hospital there, Chicago, New York, New Mexico, Puerto Rico and many other places.
In 2004 she decided on Puerto Rico for fer residency. She spent three years there and graduated in 2007. Before she even graduated she had a contract with IPC, a national hospitalist company in Naples Florida.
Desiring to be in her own community in Miami where she lived before, she moved back to North Miami and worked there for four years.
With enough experience as a practitioner, Dr. Germeil opened her own practice in September of 2011 in North Miami Beach, Florida.
She is fluent in Haitian Creole,French,Spanish and English.
